Faces of the Victims

The Guardian published photos of some of the victims of the July 7 bombings in London. I scrolled down and saw about four, possible five, Muslims among them (not those accused of the bombing). Three of them are women. I don't know what meaning this really has, nor do I understand why many Muslim community leaders point out that hundreds of Muslims died in the World Trade Center attacks: "we suffered too" kind of thing. But in general it has little bearing on the fact that people who mean others harm really don't care who they're harming. And if there is backlash (always a problem), this factoid of who died really doesn't matter much.

I am truly sorry those people died. However, it seems that killing of tourists on busses and working people on the train really got some people upset. The Muslin commmunity should get outraged that these losers are killing innocents in the name of freedom.
