We need another "Islam in America" report like we need another penguin movie. But this one was actually pretty good and interesting, I declare in blogspeak. (Thanks to my sister for sending me the link.)
We're made from clay but also from a spirit that is not of this world. Negotiations between the two are always in session. Meanwhile, you may find here some reviews, commentary, translations, links to various articles, excerpted quotes, exegesis, and anything else that has a chance to edify, inspire, remind, or kindle. Thanks for dropping by.

Have you looked at the "American Face of Islam" graphic in the article? I was always under the impression that American Muslims enjoyed higher levels of education & income than the wider American public...
Yes, I saw that and wonder about its accuracy. Also I seriously question the population figures also. But overall, the article was attempting to be fair, which is something I welcome. But thanks for pointing that out.
The only penguins in a movie I liked were the gangster penguins in Madagascar. When they finally escape the zoo and hijack a ship and get to freezing, windy south pole, one says:
"Well, this sucks."
hehe
I haven't seen Madagascar, though I'd like to. Very funny line. Laughed out loud. Thank you, Irving.
